Wild For Game Safaris and ThulaTau have partnered to make Botswana safaris more personal and accessible, combining expert local guiding with German-speaking support and individually planned wilderness experiences.

Sometimes the best projects begin when people share the same passion. That is exactly how the partnership between Wild for Game Safaris and ThulaTau started through a shared love for Africa, the wilderness of Botswana, and authentic travel experiences.
Behind this partnership are two people: Lucas and Christine.

Lucas is the founder and heart of Wild for Game Safaris. With his calm personality, deep knowledge of Botswana’s wildlife, and exceptional understanding of nature, he has inspired travelers from around the world for many years. Anyone traveling with Lucas does not experience Botswana as a tourist, but truly immerses themselves in the untouched African bush.
A key part of Lucas’ philosophy is his concept of “Comfort Safaris” authentic wilderness experiences combined with comfort, safety, and personal care. His guests experience Botswana in an intimate and natural way without sacrificing the comfort that makes traveling enjoyable and relaxed.
Small groups, individually planned tours, and personal attention are at the center of every safari. Lucas has a special talent for combining adventure and relaxation. Whether during exciting wildlife sightings, enjoying a sundowner in the middle of the bush, or sitting around the campfire under the African night sky, his safaris create unforgettable memories far away from mass tourism.
For Christine, Africa has always been far more than just a travel destination. Around 30 years ago, she spent five months in Namibia, working on a farm and traveling extensively through Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, and Zimbabwe as a young woman. Even back then, she felt deeply connected to Africa in fact, she had seriously considered staying there permanently.
The vast landscapes, the closeness to nature, and the spirit of Southern Africa never let go of her. Over the years, the dream of returning to Africa in a more meaningful way remained alive.
In September 2025, she returned to Botswana together with her husband Hans and her son Philipp — and this is where she met Lucas.
What began as a safari soon developed into a special friendship and a shared vision: making Botswana more accessible for travelers who dream of experiencing Africa in a safe, personal, and authentic way.
Christine not only brings her passion for Africa, but also professional expertise. As an agricultural engineer, she has spent many years working with nature, environmental systems, and the relationships between wildlife, landscapes, and people. Her background adds a deeper dimension to the journeys, offering guests fascinating insights into ecosystems, animal behavior, and the natural environment.
With her warm and caring personality, Christine creates trust and makes travelers feel comfortable from the very beginning.
Many people especially travelers over 50 have Africa on their bucket list for years. At the same time, there are often uncertainties and fears:

This is exactly where Wild for Game Safaris and ThulaTau complement each other perfectly.
Lucas offers extraordinary safari experiences in the heart of Botswana’s wilderness. Christine accompanies the tours from Germany onward and supports guests throughout the entire journey as a German-speaking tour host and contact person.
Since Lucas does not speak German, Christine helps bridge the language barrier and creates a relaxed and reassuring atmosphere for German-speaking travelers.
Guests benefit from a unique combination of professional safari guiding, personal support, and in-depth knowledge about wildlife and nature.
The result is a travel experience where guests feel supported from the very beginning personally guided, individually cared for, and still deeply connected to the real Africa.
The goal of this partnership is to make travel to Botswana more personal, accessible, and comfortable. Not anonymous group tourism, but meaningful nature experiences with a true connection to wildlife, landscapes, and people.
Together, Wild for Game Safaris and ThulaTau want to give travelers the opportunity to:
Because Africa changes people. And sometimes, this is exactly where a very special story begins.
