Grab Your Camera and Get Ready for the Adventure of a Lifetime!

Most people are unaware that in the 1990s, Botswana introduced a sustainable tourism policy. This forward-thinking strategy ensures that future generations will be able to enjoy Botswana’s precious and diverse ecosystems by promoting eco-tourism and cultural conservation.

Botswana has dedicated over 40% of its land to national parks and conservation areas. These measures restrict the number of designated campsites, allowing only one safari company to use a campsite at any given time.

This limitation ensures a more exclusive and intimate experience for guests.
With an extremely low population of 2.5 million people, Botswana’s environment-and its wildlife-has retained its “natural” identity, making it ideal for photography safaris.

Our mission is to guide our guests on a once-in-a-lifetime photographic adventure by bringing them face-to-face with nature’s most majestic and beautiful animals.

Beyond perfection with Wild for Game—an unforgettable Botswana journey! Beyond perfection with Wild for Game—an unforgettable Botswana journey! If you are looking for an exceptional African safari, look no further than Wild for Game. Our 15-day adventure began on May 27th with the most welcoming gesture: the owner, Lucas, met us at our hotel to introduce our guide, Marks. We instantly felt cared for by a team that quickly became our extended Botswana family. The Ultimate Bush Experience. While the camping segment is categorized as "budget," it felt entirely like a luxury experience. Staying in tents nestled inside Moremi, Khwai, and Savuti allowed us to fall asleep to nature's soundtrack—lions roaring, hippos grunting, and elephants trumpeting. We wrapped up the trip with two wonderful nights at Bayete Lodge and a spectacular excursion to Victoria Falls. Our incredible Guide Marks is a phenomenal guide. His tracking abilities are unmatched, often spotting wildlife and major predators long before any other vehicles in the area. His knowledge is endless, and he custom-tailored every day to exactly what we wanted to see and do. Our outstanding Camp Team: The entire crew was remarkably polite and a true joy to travel with. They completely spoiled us. Chef Musa: A culinary genius who crafted spectacular lunches, 3-course dinners, and fireside snacks without a single repeat dish. Matengu: Kept us laughing with his brilliant sense of humour while providing flawless table service. Trainee Chef Modiri: Prepared delicious desserts and dishes, managed our hot showers, and kept us cozy with evening "bushbaby" hot water bottles. Our dream was completely surpassed. Thank you to this incredible team for the memories of a lifetime!

Authentic Africa We’ve been on safaris throughout Africa for decades and this was the absolute best - and even a new learning curve like no other for us. Lucas's profound local knowledge of all fauna & flora astounded us. He is intimately in tune with the rhythms of Botswana's natural world - able to decipher animal calls, tracks, behaviour & movements, locating mammals, birds, insects & reptiles with meticulous knowledge, patience and care for wildlife welfare. Others rushed, we waited, listened & were led into the true heart &, aesthetics of Botswana's wilderness Locally owned (which was so important for us), Wild for Game's service & logistics is 5 star authentic Africa, with incredibly comfortable accommodation (down to the hot water bottle in bed, hot showers & roomy tent locations), extensive & varied gourmet food (with bread, cakes & muffins (for morning & afternoon teas) baked daily in an ingenious ground oven) and a marvellous (and humorous) team that made us feel totally safe and special. At the end of every safari in their super comfortable new vehicles we were greeted with silver tray drinks & fireside snacks - all we could eat & drink, and more. Such a privilege to have shared 8 days with this dedicated team of locals - and have the minutiae of African life truly laid bare for us. Thanks Lucas, the enormous local respect that befalls you is very well earned. Ray & Heather Australia

Safari trip that exceeded all expectations! My partner and I recently returned from a private safari trip in Botswana (May 2026) organized by 'Wild for Games', and it exceeded all our expectations. We wanted to truly immerse ourselves in the wildlife, so we chose for a private tented camping safari to have ultimate freedom and flexibility. Our guide, Marks, was absolutely top-notch! Thanks to his tracking skills and knowledge, we saw every single animal we wanted to see, and from amazingly close range. We saw lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, leopards, water buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, wild dogs, hyenas, impalas, warthogs, and a breathtaking variety of birds. Marks had a perfect sense of timing; he knew exactly when to share insights and when to just let us enjoy the safari experience in silence. The camping side of things was incredibly well-organized and surprisingly luxurious. We were supported by a fantastic camp team who took care us from start to finish. It was amazing what delicious meals they managed to create for us in the middle of the savannah! To get the full Botswana experience, we explored the landscape by land, water, and air: Game drives for the classic, close-up wildlife viewing, mokoro trip for a relaxing perspective from the water, a helicopter flight for amazing views of the Okavango Delta view from above. We concluded our safari trip with a visit to the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, the perfect ending. A huge thank you to Lucas and his entire team. From the initial planning to the final day, they were incredibly helpful, perfectly organized, and made sure our entire journey was completely carefree. This was truly an unforgettable trip.. We cannot recommend 'Wild for Games' highly enough. Thank you very much for everything, Lucas & team!

Outstanding safari trip. All aspects of this trip went above and beyond our expectations. Lucas and his team took excellent care of us, comfy beds, hot showers fab food and magnificent game drives twice a day. Lucas's knowledge of animals and birds was outstanding, and his ability to place us in the right place at the right time was almost telepathic. We would definitely recommend Wild for Games and hope to return ourselves one day.

Possiamo solo raccomandarlo.

Magical moments in the wild, all thanks to our incredible guide, Lucas. I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing a truly exceptional tour with Lucas and his team in April. It was already my second tour with Wild for Game Safaris, and once again, it exceeded all my expectations in every possible way. The wildlife sightings were simply breathtaking. Lucas demonstrated remarkable skill and expertise in tracking, reading signs, and finding animals, guiding us to unforgettable encounters. We were always given plenty of time and space to quietly observe and fully appreciate these magical moments in nature. Throughout the entire tour, Lucas and his wonderful team took outstanding care of us. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and nothing was ever missing. The team’s warmth, enthusiasm, and constant good spirits made the experience even more special, and we were truly spoiled with delicious meals. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for these unforgettable days. I am already looking forward to returning in July—and I am counting down the days with great anticipation.

Excellent Safari Experience It was an awesome experience. A truly luxury camping experience - hot showers, private toilet and a bed that was better than many hotels. Food was excellent. Lucas was a great personality and he knows the areas so he could be the first to find the animals. He was also happy to sit and watch. Would definitely book again.

Wild For Game Safaris Surpasses All Hopes and Expectations Know that type of vacation you can't stop thinking about and never want to let go of? The kind you want to hold close to your heart for all eternity? My Northern Exposure 11-day Safari with Wild For Game Safaris was that kind of trip. Everything was superlative, from the amazingly knowledgeable guide (really a highly-trained naturalist) to the excellent food and care we received at camp to the final drop off for the journey home. As for the wildlife, we saw more mammals than I even expected to find in Botswana and a most wonderful plus were the 130 species of birds we saw. Miles upon miles of elephants, lions playing and mating, zebras galore and so much more. I am already planning my next trip to Botswana with WFG Safaris.

We had a very rewarding trip which exceeded our expectations Our Wild for Game Botswana Safari was 13 days. We had a very rewarding trip which exceeded our expectations and saw every animal we had hoped to see and more. The staff were very professional, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to be helpful and considerate. They are very efficient at braking down, moving and setting up camp. The chef is very skilled and prepared a variety of delicious meals. Malks, our guide, possessed an intimate knowledge of the terrain, the animals and their habits. He easily tracked and located animals and positioned the Land Cruiser to afford the best possible encounters. Malks was often the first guide to locate animals and we could see that other guides respected his skill and experience. He continually taught us about the country, insects, birds, animals, vegetation and weather which was very informative. He mixed up the outings to give us a variety of experiences; bush, plains, forest, boating trips etc. We are recommending Wild for Game Safaris for a memorable experience.

Brilliant mobile safari ! Absolutely superb trip. I had been on 3 other safaris before in Tanzania and South Africa . This trip was the stand out one for me. Mobile safari is an immersive experience. You are embedded with the wildlife for the whole duration. Amazing sounds at night and wonderful night sky. I loved the camaraderie of the guests ( 2 other friends) and another couple who we gelled with. Lucas ( owner and guide) is superbly knowledgeable and is a skilled guide. Many guides just follow intelligence gathered on CB radios but Lucas is the “real deal”. Tracked down a male lion, 2 superb leopard sightings that we would have completely missed. We saw so much. . 185 species of birds, 4 Lion sightings, 3 leopard sightings. Witnessed a leopard killing an antelope and another one consuming its kill. Painted dogs experience was great too. None of this would not been possible without Lucas and his patience. You have to wait and observe rather than drive around frantically. He embraces the slow safari and it works. The tents were good with private outdoor en suite with camping shower. Food was fantastic - Musa the cook did a brilliant job baking bread, cakes and our meals on a mobile camping oven! If you are a keen wildlife person- value the 6am starts to capture the “golden hour” and like watching/ photographing wildlife this is the tour for you. You won’t forget it! Superb sunrises/ sunsets and a safari experience you will never forget. Lucas is highly professional and dedicated. Decent kit and well maintained vehicles. Very attentive and high level of communication and English . Would definitely recommend!

This was a wonderful 17 day safari experience for us, both having been going on safari since the early nineties! The camp team were really great, friendly and supportive, with Marks, our guide, very experienced. He went out of his way for our photography, even driving twice in the early hours to get us to a wild dog den by daybreak to photograph the 14 pups as the adults returned after a morning kill. The camps were beautiful, the food (by Pula) very good (one of us is veggie). MT and Two meters provided the wine and hot showers! Whether it's your first time on safari or you're an old hand, this team will go all out to make you proud of Botswana and its wildlife. We travelled from Maun through Kazinkini, Moreni, Khwai, Savuti to Chobe waterfront and Kasane. Organised and booked directly with Lucas of Wild for Game Safaris.

Title: A Dream Come True in Botswana—Our Wild for Game Safari! Our 15-day safari with Wild for Game starting May 27th was a dream come true. From day one, the personal touch was incredible. The owner, Lucas, met us at our hotel to introduce us to our guide, Marks. From that moment on, we felt like part of an extended Botswana family. Luxury in the Bush Wild for Game labels the camping portion of this trip as "budget," but the experience felt totally luxurious. We moved from Moremi to Khwai and Savuti, staying in tents right inside the reserves. Falling asleep to the sounds of lions roaring, hippos grunting, and elephants trumpeting was unforgettable. We ended our spectacular journey by having an amazing boat trip down the Chobe Rivers seeing elephants swimming and hippos sunbathing, and ending with a comfortable two-night stay at Bayete Lodge, which included an incredible trip to Victoria Falls. World-Class Camp CrewThe entire team was incredibly polite and an absolute pleasure to be with. Our guide Marks An Unmatched guiding experience Marks is an extraordinary guide whose tracking skills are second to none. He consistently spotted animals and predators before any other guides in the area. His knowledge of the wildlife is absolutely unparalleled. Whatever we wanted to see or do, we simply told Marks and he arranged it all seamlessly. The hosting team pampered us completely: Musa (Chef): Cooked amazing lunches, mind-blowing 3-course meals in the evening, and fantastic cakes and snacks completely over an open fire without ever repeating a dish. Matengu: Had a brilliant sense of humour and looked after us beautifully during every single mealtime with top-tier service. The welcome of iced tea after early morning drive was fantastic and was well needed. Modiri (Trainee Chef): Cooked some wonderful dishes and tasty desserts, kept our shower water perfectly hot, and surprised us with welcoming hot water bottles ("bushbabies") for the chilly night's. Thank you, Wild for Game, for making our dream come more than true. We cannot recommend this team highly enough! Unfortunately no picture of Marks, as picture was not clear :(

The best safari experiences our family ever had. We didn’t expect so professional team, so good experience from first day when Lucas come and greet us at airport Till last day when Max left us on day we go back from our trip. Botswana have a lot to ofer, wild life landscapes culture, everywhere our guide Max took us was something amazing to see he was so good at wild animals tracking. Our family will always recommend Lucas company, actually we already decide to go again. Tailored safaris are really good as our family could enjoy all experience as it was only us in car no others expect our Guide, who do everything to make us amazed. 11 days is perfect for this kind of safari, we enjoy it very much, with all professional way Lucas team take care of us was amazing, obviously not everyone can enjoy it as you need to sleep in tents take shower in nature but for us it was one of the most amazing experience in our life, In our opinion price was much better then travel companies for experience Lucas give us, and after all the way from Maun to Kasane Lucas book us very comfortable Lodge for us to enjoy rest of ours stay. Our Guide Max stay with us till end as well he went with us to Victoria falls which was very nice and professional. Wild for games safari will always be in our hearts, and we can’t wait to go with them again. LUCAS NEVER GIVE UP AS WE WANT TO COME BACK TO YOU
