About

Wild for Game Safaris is a citizen-owned safaris company that offers camping-style photography safaris. We're located near the Okavango Delta in Maun, Botswana . . .

We design our trips exclusively for photography. From sunrise to sunset, you'll be immersed in the best possible surroundings for capturing wildlife on camera. But don't worry; we'll be right next to you, guiding you to the best opportunities.

It's also important to point out that "camping-style" safaris are by no means "primitive camping." You'll sleep in spacious tents, complete with your own private bathroom, that we set up and move around for you. The only thing you need to do is relax, enjoy yourself, and take pictures . . .

All your meals are prepared for you. All your transportation-from the second you set off the charter flight to the second you step back on-is provided by us. Your safety and well-being are always our top priority.

We are represented on SafariBookings.com.

As Seen On

Here's where you'll be sleeping . .

As you can see, your "in-field" accommodations are quite spacious.

"We lacked for nothing-comfortable bed in a large stand-up tent, hot water whenever we wanted . . . the cook was a magician who never duplicated a meal. One distinct advantage to a tent safari is that there is no fixed schedule. If we saw something interesting (like witnessing a buffalo kill in progress) we could take our time . . . The entire trip was perfect in that each camp was like a stepping stone to the next. Add in the Lucas, a wildlife photographer himself, always put us into the best position for open shots with the best light."

About me: Your Head Guide

Lucas Tshupo

My name is Lucas Tshupo. I was born in kasane - the gateway to the Chobe National Park .Kasane is situated along the Chobe River ,where four countries meet, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. This is where I developed a keen interest in flora and Fauna, from an early age-hence the reason I am now a qualified safari Guide. This was inspired not only by the diverse landscape and many habitats but also the dynamic and sustainable state in which humans and wildlife co-adapt to living in shared landscapes in the area.

Chobe National Park is the second largest park in Botswana ,known to have the largest population of elephants in the world, is also home to an exciting variety of large mammals and there are also over 450 bird species in Botswana. Before I began my career, I embarked on an intensive Guide Training Course with TSL Business Academy, Wilderness Safaris and Okavango Guiding School, to increase the fundamentals I had acquired from a young age living in Kasane. I have been guiding for over 14 years!

I began my guiding career in the world renowned Okavango Delta and have since worked in various lodges. In 2015 I started leading safari tours across Botswana .My passion lies largely within the world of birds and wildlife photography.

I enjoy anticipating what is going to happen on safari , before it actually happens and being in the right place at the right time for dramatic action. Many amazing moments await you on your next awe -inspiring Botswana Safari. Remember that patience is the biggest virtue in the bush- but you need to be ready for instant action when it happens!
